Rules for Presentations

Papers for presentation at the International Congress on Propolis
(Buenos Aires, September 1st and 2nd) need to be submitted before July 15th, 2000.

Rules for Presentation of Papers
  1. The accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings of the Congress.
  2. They will be in the format Word for Windows.
  3. Page Size A4, Superior and inferior margins: 2.5 cm. Left and 3.0 cm. Right. Font: Times New Roman, size 12. Paragraphs in simple spacing.
  4. Title to be typed in uppercase-bold-type.
  5. Followed by: Authors’ names (Last name first), Institutions that you represent, postal address, telephone and fax numbers, E-mail. Underline the name of the person presenting the work.
  6. The works are to be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English and they will contain: Introduction, Objectives, Materials and methods, Results, Conclusions, Bibliography, and Abstracts in English.
  7. The size of the file, including images and graphics, is to be not larger that 1 Mb. If your file is larger than 1 Mb. you will need to compress the file in ZIP format.
  8. The submission of the works is to be made exclusively by e-mail, using file attachment, sent to the following address: propolis@tucbbs.com.ar

    Confirmation of receipt of papers will be made by the same means.

    The presenter of the accepted works will be exempt from payment of the registration fee for the Congress.


Rules for presentation of Communications
  1. The accepted communications will be published in the Proceedings of the Congress.
  2. They will be in the format Word for Windows.

  1. Title to be typed in uppercase-bold-type.

  3. The oral presentations are to be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English and they will contain: Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and Conclusions.

Rules for Poster Presentation
  1. Posters are to have the following dimensions: Height 1.20 m. Width 1.00 m.
  2. Posters to be presented on paper or bristol board to allow them to be fixed for display.
  3. Use appropriate sizes for texts and graphics that allow the poster to be read from a distance of one to two metres.
  4. The title should be placed in the upper section, followed by the author and associated data as submitted with the work
  5. To include: Summary (just as it was sent in the work), Materials and methods, Results and Conclusions.
