Achievements

Author of about 150 scientific articles, 5 books.
Elaborated and implemented in medical practice medical products based on bee venom - "Ungapiven" ointment, "Solapiven" injection solution, "Reflapis" reflex-therapy needles, "Apingalin" preparation based on royal jelly, "Bufotin" cardiotonic treatment on the toad venom. Elaborated and implemented in practice an optimized technology of getting bee venom (1970-1985).

The Department of Human and Animal Physiology and Biochemistry at the University of Nizhni Novgorod for many years has been studying natural physiologically active substances derived from animal (snake, bee, toad, scorpion, salamander ) venom and bee farming products. Research work is aimed at analyzing the physiological activity of these products and developing drugs and food additives on their basis. We have accumulated significant experience in developing drugs - from working out the composition of medicinal forms and pre-clinical studies using the models of respective diseases on animals to clinical trials and series production. We have developed , tested and approved with the Russian Pharmacopoeia a number of medicines containing bee venom: "Apifor" tablets for electrophoresis, "Ungapiven" ointment, "Apital" tablets with Royal Jelly and Vitamin C that are now produced by pharmaceutical factories. "Bufotin", a cardiostimulating medicine made of toad venom, and some new preparations of bee venom and royal jelly are undergoing clinical trials. "Solipaven", a venom solution for injections, has proved to be very efficient at the Nizhni Novgorod Centre for Apitherapy. It retains the properties of the natural venom for 5 years and has every chance to replace the painful procedures involving bee stings. One of our latest products are "Apireflapis" acupuncture needles with bee venom applied on their surface. These have very good references from acupuncture practitioners. Pulmonologists have approved "Apinalgin" , a preparation for inhalation with royal jelly and propolis used for treating the bronchial asthma and bronchitis. Water-soluble cream "Aprolac" with royal jelly and propolis is at the stage of pre-clinical trials.

Interests
We are ready to cooperate with the interested investors in the area of development and pre-clinical (experimental) study of new drugs on the basis of zootoxins, food additives and cosmetics on the basis of bee products (honey, wax, pollen, propolis, bee venom, royal jelly, drone and wax moth larvae) .
